Sondex Gasketed Plate Heat Exchangers consist of core components including a fixed clamping plate, a movable clamping plate, upper and lower guide rods, clamping bolts, and a plate assembly with sealing gaskets. Due to the bolt fastening and gasket sealing, they can be completely disassembled. During maintenance, the plate assembly can be easily removed for cleaning or replacement without disassembling the piping.

The medium circulates counter-currently within the plate heat exchanger, with the hotter medium transferring its energy to the cooler medium on the other side of the plate. This process prevents the media from mixing.
